Best Western Plus Black Oak

I like how there is a diner at the front of the hotel building so we didn’t have to load the children into the car to go eat at the diner. We could just place an order and walk to get the order and bring it back to the room.

The room was clean and felt very up to date. the room had a good sized bathroom, a sink and large counter outside of the bathroom area. plus there was a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot with coffee pods. the property was close to the freeway which was great as we only stopped in town for one night in our road-trip. We also got a $5 coupon per person for breakfast at the restaurant next door. I would stay here again!

Lots of space in the room, fully equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds secured good night sleep and the bathroom with roll-in shower was exactly what we expected. The staff was very helpful throughout, even with the booking and small details.

I picked this motel due to it being next to Margie's Diner. I was not disappointed. The room was on the ground floor (changed by the lovely lady manager on reception when we checked in) and met all of my, and my fiancee's expectations. Only a one night stay but we have already booked again for Octobrer this year. The Diner does not disappoint either.

We really appreciated the-grab-and-go breakfast bag we were greeted with when we checked out. (They also had discount coupons for us to use at the diner on property if we wanted to. However, we needed to hit the road and the bag breakfast was great!). There was also coffee and tea available in the lobby at all hours. The rooms were comfortable, clean, cozy, and quiet. Not overly large but well appointed. They had every amenity we needed, and in fact the hotel made sure the room was amply stocked. The location was great (we visited Sensorio Light Fields in the evening, which was only 7 minutes away, and we were close to the main highway arteries).
